The emphasis in hospice is to keep the patient at home. The hospice team includes an interdisciplinary group of professionals and volunteers who provide assistance in achieving that goal. This could involve routine care provided intermittently or continuous care 24 hours a day, depending on the unique needs of the patient and family.
Our hospice team members can also lend emotional support and companionship to you and your family, as well as coordinate the involvement of additional resources in the community to assist you.
